'Changes have been made'

 Hey guys!! I regret to inform you that me and Jenna have scratched the music video for 'Ma Belle Evangeline'. We were put in such an unpredictable situation. We lost all our actors; we were low on funds and our schedule was colliding with each other's. Don't worry though because we were able to fix everything by just changing everything all together. Our genre is still pop but it doesn't fall under the Disney category. Our new song is 'Never Gonna Give You Up' by Rick Astley. We chose this because we thought of a more simpler video concept. Where we didn't have to spend a lot of money and don't need to contain other people. We thought of just having Jenna's dog in the video. The whole concept would be that the dog is missing, and that Jenna is looking for her. Jenna goes around showing a picture of her dog to everyone. She then posts missing posters around the neighborhood in hopes of finding her dog. She films clips of her dog running away and also a clip of a "reunion"/ meeting with her once more. It's somewhat hard for the dog to run away because it doesn't want to leave Jennas side. I suggested she tried to throw an object to get the dog to fetch it. We can always just edit the object out, so it doesn't obstruct the image we are trying to produce for viewers. This was the most beneficial way. Jenna will be filming on her iPhone 11 during this filming process. I will be doing most of the editing through CapCut. Jenna has opted to edit on iMovie. We will therefore be using both to help with different things that one app may not be able to do.

‘Finally’

Hey guys!! So I’m almost done with my commercial. I have come a long way with production. I learned how to add letters to my edit. Just select the video you want the letters to appear in. Then you select the text option at the bottom of the screen. After that just type what you want to appear. You can also change the font of the text. You can also change when the text appears. For example I lined up my text to the lyrics at the beginning of the song that says “thank you” “thank you” thank you”. I also learned about the “Velocity” effect. It gives a more vibrant view for my edit. Makes it more alive and eye catching. I really want something that attracts the watcher. I also plan on adding more videos to the football game I went to the other day. I feel like I have come a long way though. Especially with editing because I used to think it was so easy. Meanwhile it was not that easy. I’m glad I got the chance to learn about it though. I can use these new earned skills for future projects....
